Hunza & Chitral: Changing Climate, Changing Landscapes
Explore two distinctive regions of Pakistan and gain insights into the customs and histories of the local communities. We will travel from the peaks of Hunza to the plateaus of Chitral, learning about how these communities relate to their surrounding environment, and how that environment has changed in recent times.
The total price for the twelve days is $4,990. The trip will run from 14 May - 25 May 2022, starting and ending in Islamabad.
We interview all those that apply to join the trip. Once selected, participants will be required to pay a $650 deposit to secure their place on the trip.

Kate brings a decade of experience designing tailormade tours for curious and discerning travellers. While she's explored corners of almost every continent, and lived on three, she's particularly drawn to the Middle East and Central Asia, and to parts of the world are a challenge to understand and navigate.
Kate has long admired ISHKAR's ethos and their dedication to exposing open-minded individuals to lesser known and misunderstood destinations through crafts, storytelling and travel.
