Amelie Pichard is one of France’s most exciting independent designers. She has collaborated with everyone from Pamela Anderson to Opening Ceremony. Pichard’s creative process revolves around playing with cliches. Her designs are unorthodox yet wearable, vintage but unmistakable urban.
We collaborated with Pichard to create a jewellery collection that is evokes the time in Afghanistan before the soviet invasion in 1979. Each piece is inspired by the many hippies that came through Afghanistan on the Hippie Trail, drawn by its reputation for mythic beauty, age-old craftsmanship, famous hospitality (and perhaps its native cannabis too…).
