Act For Afghanistan: Ways to Continue Supporting

As Afghanistan fell to the Taliban in August, we launched a snap print sale to raise money for an extraordinary organisation called EMERGENCY hospitals.

What happened next, took us all by surprise.

From the profits raised from the print sale we have been able to donate over $123,000 to EMERGENCY hospitals. These are crucial funds that will help save lives over the bitter winter ahead.

But now is not the time to stop reading, talking and thinking about Afghanistan. The situation continues to worsen by the day. So we've put together a few actions that you can take to make sure the world doesn't turn its back on Afghanistan, when it needs us all the most. Please share with anyone who might be interested!

DONATE:

EMERGENCY Hospitals

EMERGENCY remain committed to their work in Afghanistan, providing free, non-partisan healthcare across the country. Even though our print sale has now ended, you can still donate directly through their website. To read more about their dedication to the country read their report of 20 years of war here.

AFGHAN WORKING CHILDREN

An emergency aid project operating in Bamiyan Afghanistan set up by our friend and partner, Sajjad Husaini, to support young children who have been orphaned and left to look after their (approximately 40) families in Afghanistan. Read more & support here

Support Mobile Libraries Reach Children of Kabul

Charmaghz is a Kabul based NGO, turning old public buses into mobile libraries, promoting critical thinking, providing a space for children to read, think, and ask questions. Read more and support here

Support Free Press and Etilaat Roz Newspaper in Afghanistan
