Born and raised in Catania, Glauco is an award-winning photographer based in London.
His work focuses on youth identity and underrepresented communities in Sicily and across Europe. His past works include the book ‘Sicily-49’, on the American influence in Sicily after the Second World War. He has also documented Catania’s San Berillo, once a notorious red-light district and now a cultural melting pot that will form a highlight of our trip.
“I look at my work with the idea of what it will mean in a future era. In this post-dated perspective, everything becomes relevant: attitude, fashion, architecture and the landscape inhabited by the subjects.”
