La Designer
Amélie Pichard est une créatrice indépendante Française. Elle a travaillé avec une ribambelle de personnes, de Pamela Anderson à Opening Ceremony. Le processus créatif de Pichard consiste à jouer avec des clichés. Ses créations sont à la fois peu orthodoxes et faciles à porter, vintage mais urbaines.
Le Hippie Trail
Avant l'invasion soviétique en 1979, l'Afghanistan était au cœur du sentier Hippie. Des milliers de hippies sont passés par l’Afghanistan, attirés par sa réputation de beauté mythique, d’artisanat ancestral, d’hospitalité (et peut-être aussi de cannabis local…). La collection joyeuse de Pichard évoque la nostalgie de cette époque.

This piece was produced by master artisans in Afghanistan. Since the Taliban took over in August 2021, we have removed all names and references of our partners for security reasons.
Some of our partners were able to leave Afghanistan. For those who remain, their craft is critical to sustain their livelihoods at a time when the country is in financial collapse and in the grip of a humanitarian disaster.
